SACRED HEART PREVENTION SERVICES ARE EVIDENCE BASED WITH PROGRAMS AIMED AT PREVENTING OR REDUCING PROBLEMS ASSOCIATED WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE.
• After school programs - Conduct programs for students who have received MIP tickets for alcohol and tobacco, violated their school code of conduct regarding tobacco, and alcohol/other drugs.

• Support services for children of parents with addictions.

• Speaking engagements (topics on substance issues and tobacco)
• Classes for first time DUI and drug offenders.
Sacred Heart prevention services are intended to lessen the significant consequences of a childhood spent experiencing parental drug and/or alcohol addiction.
• Children's Program Kit: The Supportive Education for Children of Addicted Parents is detailed in this kit. It is thoroughly detailed, incorporating integrated lesson
plans, activities, parental forms and letters, age appropriate videos, posters and program startup guidance.
• Information on topics such as addictions, recovery and support groups.
• Development of adaptive and protective skills, such as problem solving, communication, relationship-building and other skills.
• Individual interventions
• Referrals to child specialists, such as psychologists or psychiatrists.
Sacred Heart has an emphasis on movement of a client across a continuum of services in multiple levels of care. Sacred Heart coordinates with the providers of subsequent levels of care for clients completing any of our programs to assure continuity in the treatment process. Detoxification Services
